Rave Crouton
Food literature publisher Rave Crouton were looking for an identity and book design. The result was a clear, modern and distinctive identity that could be used dynamically across a range of media, from print to web.
The first major work (with the identity designed) was their first book: Out To Lunch by Observer colomnist Paul Levy. With the book being re-published the decision was taken to completely re-scan and re-set the book, adding a comprehensive new index.
All aspects of the book were designed to ensure a seamless and integrated reading experience. Papers, fonts, jacket papers and design were decided upon as a whole, ensuring consistency.
Click the book to view layout design (opens in new window, Adobe Flash needed).
The identity was used for a quarterly booklet: the rave crouton quarterly which was designed at A5 size.

And a website was also developed, with an online shopping facility, enabling visitors to order copies of the rave crouton quarterly, books and submit their own proposals.
